Travel girls Program Overview

Swan City is proud to offer a complete pathway for female athletes. We offer some of the highest leagues and platforms in the state, providing young women an opportunity to grow in the game. From development at the FCL level to elite competition in the ECNL-R and a path to pro through the USL W, we are certain we have a program that will best suit your player's goals.

USL - W League

The USL W League is a pre-professional women’s soccer league that began play in 2022. It's purpose is to serve as the nation’s premier pre-professional league developing the next generation of women’s soccer talent both on and off the field. Women in the USL W have the opportunity to retain their amateur status, and to continue playing in college, while also getting the exposure and feel for what a professional atmosphere may encompass.

For our Swan City players, this offers another path to explore play in the professional ranks. It also offers our community the chance to see some of the state's best talent compete.

The importance of investing in women and women’s soccer has never been greater. By providing more opportunities to play, work, and watch, we’re committed to growing the women’s game for all who love it.

The ECNL was founded in 2009 by forward-thinking Directors of Coaching across the country who saw a need for change in and special commitment to improving the daily environment for American elite female youth soccer players.  These Directors came together and collaborated to build what would become the top female youth development platform in the world.  The grass roots leadership and cooperation was unprecedented in American youth soccer, and the ECNL continues to be the most progressive and innovative development platform in the country. ~ The History of the ECNL

The ECNL-Regional League is a developmental competition platform that provides objective results for assessment of potential future club membership in the ECNL Girls. Swan City SC is a member of the ECNL-R and is working towards membership into the ECNL.

Top tier divisions of each conference provide teams with an opportunity to earn their place in National League P.R.O., which provides teams in the 14U-19U Boys and Girls age groups with the chance to play some of the top competition in the country while competing for berths to the USYS National Championships. For each gender, 12 teams per age group will advance to the National Championships from National League P.R.O.
