Biography
From New Zealand, Coach Corey Mills came to the United States on a soccer scholarship to Florida Southern College. He attended Florida Southern before transferring to Southeastern University to finish his collegiate soccer career. Shortly thereafter, Coach Mills began his professional career with the Florida Tropics organization where he won a national title.
Today, Coach Mills serves as the Sports Performance Director for Swan City SC. In this role, he works with competitive teams from u13 through u19 to improve athletic performance at every level. He conducts pre-season testing, in-season performance sessions, and off-season conditioning programs, all to optimize player performance. Strength & Power Development, Speed & Agility Training, as well as Recovery & Mobility, are all topics that Coach Mills introduces to the players. He currently coaches the U11 Swan City Elite team.
When not coaching, Coach Mills is the owner and director of Top Corner Coaching, a private coaching lab providing strength and performance support for athletes. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and Kinesiology and a Master’s degree in Kinesiology / Sports Performance. He is newly married to his wife, Courtney, and resides in Lakeland.
